Set in 1990s Punjab, near the India-Pakistan border, "Soohe Ve Cheere Waleya" tells the heartfelt story of "Sooba" (Nirvair Pannu), a well-educated young man who runs a telephone shop yet feels incomplete without his ancestral land. His quiet life changes when he begins hearing the soulful poetry of a mysterious girl, Naazo (Tannu Grewal), broadcast from Lahore Radio. Naazo, a mute poet from Pakistan, expresses her emotions through shayari that crosses borders and hearts alike. A chance encounter with a lost army wireless connects their worlds. What begins as a misunderstanding turns into a profound emotional bond that revives memories of love, loss, and the unhealed wounds of Partition. As Nirvair journeys across the border to find Naazo, their meeting becomes a reflection of two divided lands yearning for unity through art, humanity, and timeless love.
